It always started the same way. Thew news of your departure, the small far-well games. It never once changed though. The scene never once held a different emotion or a different tune. Always the same old and boring one. So what could she expect from the last one she left from. Nothing. Alethia left her old town..her parents agreed so many times about where she wanted to go..but her parents thought otherwise. So they made plans for her to come here. Thing was, they already made reservations for hero to stay at a five start hotel. Alethia knew the name..since it was easily recognized. Gold Star Hotel. Her cheap parents knew she wouldn't be able to say no to that. She told herself to look forward to it..like a prepaid vacation. Alethia though knew she was already annoyed and agitated, and she hadn't even arrive to her destination yet. All she could do was get there and get it over with. ------ The gold letters shone like a golden metal standing on top of a tall building, just screaming I was the best..there is no other top hotel..go to hell Taking her eyes off the sign, she shook her head. Moving her hand upwards to her face, as she gave out a frustrated sigh. Taking in a breath, she handed her keys to valet and pulled out her suitcase from the back of her black BMW. Catching a glance at the valet boy "Take your time..do what you wish with it" her tones almost snarled. She hated that car. Her parents got it for her for a guilt trip on something when she was graduating high school. It annoyed her, her parents did. Alethia though knew she would sell it in for something else. Since ale wasn't the type of girl to like expensive things like that. Throwing a backpack over her shoulder and grabbing her suitcase, she made her way into the hotel. ------- His name card red Fred the manager. As she watched him type names in the computer to over look her room, she opened her shoulder and took a look around the lobby. Not a bad looking place..very high class. Though at the moment..ale looked like she belonged at a motel 6. Right now she'd rather be at one. your room is not ready yet miss tellus. you'll have to wait till six thirty to get to your room. his voice squeaked as she listened. Rolling her eyes, she grinded down her teeth. You can hand your things to the bell boy and he'll be glad to put your things in a safe place until your room is suitable Fred's hands reached to the side showing ale where to go. She nodded and smiled to him before making her way. The bell boy was young..in his late teens. So not that young. Handing over her things to him, she noticed he looked like he hated his job. "Hey it's better then making nothing at all" her tones were even as she then reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a twenty dollar bill. Handing it to the kid, she then winked at him before he thanked her and walked her things to a small locked closet. ------ Walking over to a couch that layed in the lobby, she threw herself into making an 'ummpf' sound as she fell on the couch. Taking in a deep breath, she brought her legs onto the couch and layed across it. Right leg crossed over the left, she placed her hands behind her head and watched the people walking in. Her eyes followed woman who carried coach bags and chanel wallets in their arms. They had life easy..it just came to them. But that wasn't life at all..that was hell. Sighing, she swung her legs off the couch and put her elbows on her knees. Her hands caressed her face "great.." her voice trailed off. She could get whatever she wanted if she asked her parents. She didn't though. She worked. Ale was a waitress and worked damn well at being one. Ale worked hard for her money and never asked her parents. Laying back on the couch, she stared at the ceiling and bit her bottom lip. It was only two. [/blockquote]

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE The gleaming black 67' Impala sped down the streets, it's engine roaring. Turning left and right, weaving threw cars, running lights, the whole deal. The driver of the car, didn't give a fuck that the other cars were honking, he was late. The little boy in the seat next to him had his hands up in the air, and he giggled everytime the sped around a turn. He thought it was a rollercoaster or something, his mind in the world of children. He looked up at the man who was driving, a large smile on his little face, not a care in the world running threw his little head. Everything was just perfect for him. Truth was, it wasn't perfect. They were late, and Ezekiel didn't know what was going to happen. He was supposed to have the boy at the hotel at two o'clock. Sharp. O god had she stressed that he be there on time or she will never let him see his boy again. It scared the holy shit out of him. He had only met his boy a little over a week ago, and wasn't able to keep him. That damn bitch was smart.
The tires squeeled as he pulled into a empty spot on the side of the road. He didn't trust someone else parking his car. It was his, he had spent every last dime on it, and wasn't about to let some kid crash it. So he quickly parallel parked, and got out, walking around to the other side, he opened the door, and smiled at the little boy that was fighting with his seat belt. With a laugh, he leaned in and unbuckled the kid, then helped him out of the car. His little hand grabbed Ezekiel's and the little boy yelled at his father for not looking both ways before attempting to cross the street. Ezekiel grumbled, looked both ways, then quickly went across, the little boy having to run to keep up with his father's long strides.
As they stepped inside, Ezekiel's green eyes peered around the lobby, looking for a woman. Not seeing her, he sighed, and looked at his watch. It was a quarter passed. Where was she? Slowly he went over to the front desk, and looked at the elidged Fred. Hi, Um.... I'm looking for a woman, her name is Lori. Do you know where she is? He asked, his hand still holding the little boy's. The manager typed something into the comptuer then looked back at him. May I know your relationship to her? We are not allowed to say where our clients are. Ezekiel grumbled and stared at him. He turned, and picked the little boy up. See this little boy? He is my son. If I don't get him to that crazy bitch of a mother he has she is going to take him away from me. If that happens because you won't tell me wehere she is, so help me God I will come to your house, cut your legs off, and set your house on fire. Then I will just stand there and laugh as I watch you drag your bloddy stumps out. You could here Ezekiel's anger pour out of his words as he spoke to the man. Fred gulped, and nervously smiled, then typed something into the comptuer. She left this morning and hasn't checked back in yet. So if you wouldn't mind taking a seat, I will inform you when she arrives. He said, rather nervously. Ezekiel grinned. See, not was that so hard? Then he turned and left the desk. Ezekiel's placed the little boy back down, a smile still on his bright face. He took the black cloth he was holding and held it out for his father to take. Will you tie my cape on? He asked, an innocent look on his face. The were wolf smiled, took the cape, and tied it around the boy's neck. After that he went over and sat down in a chair not far from the couch a girl was laying on. He flopped down in it, and grumbled something to himself. Little Cas started running around the lobby, holding onto his black cape as he did. He was giggling and jumping around, dodging the bell boys and guests that walked through the door. Then he stopped, and went to run back to his father, but saw the woman on the couch. He ran up to her, and stopped only a foot away. Hi! I'm Castiel. Who are you? He asked sweetly. Ezekiel raised an eyebrow as he herd his son talk, but didn't sa anything. Usually he ran up to people, telling them to freeze and not to move or he will be forced to hurt them. Most of the time, they moved, and he kicked them. It was amusing. Then again, it was nice to see him act like a normal person for once. He was going to tell his son to leave the lady alone, but frankily, he didn't care. As long as she wasn't mean to his kid, Cas could have a field day. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 855 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- yay for your first post on the site! Her eyes shifted from left to right. Searching for something on the ceiling that might catch the slightest of her attention. When she found nothing she bit her bottom lip harder and grumbled slowly to herself. Caring not if anyone heard. Taking in a frustrated sigh, she took a glance over her shoulder towards the front desk. The manager chicken pecked the keyboard as he was taking care of another guest. Ale rolled her eyes at him and the guest. Sitting back straight on the couch she stared ahead, might as well people glance again. Alethia watched the people walk in and out of the hotel. Each second that passed the more bored she became. Soon she brought her hands together and started to twiddle her thumbs. Someone caught her eye though, a man with his son rushing into the hotel as if it was the end of the world. Entertained Alethia didn't take her eyes off the two till the passed away from her view. Not wanting to waste the time of turning around..since the two weren't that interesting. It was just so much entertainment to watch people rush their lives. ----- Though a rather loud percussion behind her caught her interest. Placing her left arm on the back of the couch, she turned around and saw where the noise was coming from. The gentlemen and his son..well the gentlemen was making all the loud noises. Alethia caught some of his words. Not shocked, her lips showed a rather gracious smile towards this man attitude. Letting a small laugh come from her, she noticed his stance change. She turned as to make sure this man didn't see her watching the scene. Brown eyes were placed on him as he sat down..she noticed he grumbled to himself. Giving a quirky glance, she then turned her attention to something else. Something not oozing off so much hate for others around him. ----- The amount of space this little boy left between himself and her must have been normal. Though Ale, not having any siblings or not use to being around children. Smiled gently towards the young boy. Coming forward, she placed her elbows on her knees once again. Letting her chin rest in the palm of her left hand. Still smiling sweetly towards him. "Hello there Castiel. I'm Alethia." tones were soft but strong as she broke her words towards his own. Noticing how this boy had so much energy running around like he owned the place. Alethia liked it..if anything she missed people like that. "Your creating some chaos in this hotel it seems like.." Ale raised an eyebrow towards the little tick. Smirking she took a quick shuffled glance around the lobby, before leaning closer to castiel. "Give em a run for their money.I trust you'll do just that." tones gave sarcasm. Kids needed to be like castiel. Just full of energy and not giving what people though or better yet did. ----- Alethia leaned away from Castiel, feeling he might want his room of his own once again. Her hands rested easily almost together as she released a smile towards him. Her view switched from the castriel to his father. Quickly catching his glance. He almost seemed amused his son was getting alone with people. Ale knew he was still in a bad mood, giving him a friendly smile she then turned her attention back to the rambunctious castriel. i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE When the woman spoke to Castiel, he smiled. You could easily see the hole where his front tooth was miising. It seemed to add onto his innocence as he stood there, practically in the woman's face. Well, all these people are so boring. I just wanted to play Batman. He said, gripping onto his cape firmly with both hands and pulling on it. Then she spoke again, and his smile seemed to go from ear to ear. He shook his head. I'll give 'em a run alright! He said before darting off to a large group of people. Ezekiel raised an eyebrow as he saw his son dart off, then turned to look at Alethia, a sort of curiousity on his face. He had just completely zoned out and hadn't listened to a word she had told the little kid. He didn't look at her for long, hearing some woman scream off in the distance. Ezekiel's eyes qucly followed, seeing his little boy kicking the woman, yelling at her to freeze. Ezekiel just laughed. There were some murmurs and some laughs from other people that were in the hotel. Castiel stopped kicking the woman, and looked at the people that were laughing. He grapped his cape, and ran over to them. You think it's funny that that woman wouldn't freeze? He asked, the most serious look on his little face. The people stopped laughing and just looked at one another, dumbfounded by the boy's behavior. Just what I thought. I wasn't funny. You shouldn't laugh at Batman. You should listen to what he says and bow before his mighty power! With his last few words he lifted his hands above his head, the end of his cape still in his hands. Ezekiel just started laughing again, he seemed to be the only one now. Castiel glared at his father before turning and running over toa lugage cart that was full of lugage and was being pushed towards the elevator. He ran up to it, and jumped up, climbing on top of the lugage and sat on top of it. The man pushing it stopped, and asked nicely for Castiel to get off. The boy crossed his arms and stuck his toungue out. The man asked him again, and Castiel unfolded his arms. A sad puppy dog look came over his face, and I am just going to say, he was an expert at makinmg that face. The man smiled, but asked him to get off again. With a sigh, Castiel slid off, the went up to the man, and kicked him. After that, he went on a mad kicking spree, just running around, kicking everybody he could. Then a voice came out of no where, saying to stop the kid. Ezekiel didn't do a thing either. It wasn't like Cas was really hurting anybody. He wasn't kicking very hard. Well, atleast he hoped not. The little boy could kick when he really wanted to, but seeing that he didn't know the people, Ezekiel just guesssed the kicks were more like love taps. Then some of the employees started chasing Castiel, trying to grab him. The little boy was giggling as he ran away. No one can catch Batman! He yelled as he ran around, diving between people's legs, and sliding under the lugage carts. That was when the manager said something. Someone just stop that little brat! He probably didn't mean to say it as loud as he did, but it rang in Ezekiel's ears. He stood up, his eyes glaring over at the man. What did you just call him? The manager took in a breath, before looking at Ezekiel. Sir, you need to contain that, that thing. Ezekiel's nose slightly flared and the manager gulped. After glaring at the man for a few more moments, his green eyes slowly went over to the little boy who waws just standing there, a bunch of the hotel employees around him. Come here Cas. These people don't have our sense of humor. He glared back at the manager before sitting back down. The hotel seemed quiet as Castiel pranced back over to his father, jumping up in his lap. Then the hotel went back to normal. Castiel looked his father in the face his big brown eyes staring into his father's. Do you have my Batman? he asked innocently. Ezekiel smiled, and leaned a little to the left as he stuck his hand into the right pocket of his old, worn out blue jeans. He pulled out an old, beat up action figure of Batman that only had half a cape left. Castiel smiled, grabbed it, and climbed out of his father's lap and onto the floor, seating on his feet. After grining at his son, he looked back at the woman on the couch. My name is Ezkiel, by the way. He leaned over a little, his hand out strethced to shake hers. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 818 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- bwhaha, Cas is evil[/blockquote]

Ale couldn't help but giggle at this little boys response. For his age he should cause a comotion wherever he goes, its just what children do. They do what they want and listen , mostly, to their parents. Her dark eyes followed the boys movements as he muttered his last words before zooming off itno the hotel lobby. Smiling as Castriel did so, from the corner of her eye she noticed castriel's father taking a quick glance at her. Maybe she pissed him off by saying those things to his little boy..but by the way the boy ran through the hotel. His father approved. Looking over towards the man she gave him a small smile. Though she heard a scream. Looking back she saw the victim, a women and batman. She couldn't hold back her laughter towards this womans scream. hey batman told you to stop..your own pitiful fault she thought silently to herself as she watched the cap flow behind the boy as he ran towars a group of people laughing. Listening, ale noticed castriel had a strong sense about him she couldn't quiet put her finger on. Smirking as the little boy was so serious about how the people she bow to the mighty power of batman. ----- She couldn't take her eyes off the little whirlwind of a kid. She watched interested as he ran over to a cart, climbing on it liked he owned it. Alethia shook her head, not towards castriel. Oh no she had no problem he was making chaos in the lobby. She was shaking her head, because she might have been the one to set the head strong boy off. Castriel seemed to like to kick alot, mostly people that were closest to him. Or people he seeked out as weak opponents. Glad she wasn't one to have been kicked. Soon though the entire hotel was trying so hard to catch this one little boy. It seemed like nothing would stop him. The manager was in a angered state..the workers were just confused on directions. All they knew was they were just trying to catch batman. No one did though and no one could. Ale laughed as catriel ran this way and that, dodging people and sliding under carts. For a little boy he was pretty damn fast. ----- The strong tempered sounds of castriel's father's voice stopped her. He took offense to his son and cared for him. Her laughing stopped as she took a quick side glance at the manager. He seemed freezed like a deer in head lights. Unsure of what to say but trying to put better words together as to not get his ass kicked. Raising an eye brow towards the manager as he found his words. smart boy he thoughts were speaking once again. Listening as the father called castriel over, watching him bound over like he had done something amazing. Which he pretty much did. Smiling as castriel passed by ale gave him a wink of approval. "This hotel needed a good dose of humored chaos." alethia spoke underneath her breath. as she took her spot back on the couch. Her eyes watched as the manager went over to people apologizing for the boys behavior. Rolling her eyes, she felt her teeth grind slightly together. Her attention set on the people calming down from the past noise. ----- She heard Castriel ask for his batman, as ale turned her attention back to him. Smirking as his father pulled out his action figure and gave it to him. The toy seemed to be slightly broken. Seemed like it needed to be replaced. Taking in a deep breath she heard his father speak. Eyes shifted over to him as she looked at him. Not a bad looking man for having a child. Smiling as her introduced himself. Ale leaned over and took his hands in hers, giving a handshake greeting. "Alethia" her words were to the point, she released his hand as she looked down at his boy. "He's a bit of a handle isn't he?" tones were a bit sarcasim as she took a glance to her side towards Ezkiel. She was making simple talk. Bending down a little towards castriel as to get his attention. "It seems as if you might need a new batman." tones were soft, as she glanced back down. New toys were always fun..you could break them and make them anyway you want. Though some old toys have sentimental value. Perhaps this batman actoin figure had value to Castriel. That might be a reason for not wanting a new one.

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE After letting go of his hand, Ezekiel placed it in his lap, he chuckled when she spoke next. Accually, he is the sweetest kid I know. He does what ever he is told. Well, when I tell him to do sometihng, he usually listens... Ezekiel smiled as he looked down at his little boy, the kid really wasn't paying any attention. He was in his whoile little world. Or, in Gotham City really. He was making explosion noises as he waved his action figure in the air, his eyes seemed to be glazed over as he only saw his imaginary world. But when Ale leaned down, he put the action figure in his lap and looked over at her, his big brown eyes staring straight into hers. An almost disgusted look came onto his face when she said he needed a new Batman. He looked down at the toy in his lap for a moent, before picking it up and staring at it. He seemed to inspect it, then hugged it tightly. Uncle Bobby gave this to me. It was my first Batman... He said, looking back at Alethia. Ezekiel furrowed his brow when he herd the name 'Uncle Bobby'. He had no idea who that was supposed to be. His mother was an only child. He quickly shoved the thought to the back of his mind and looked at Alethia. I have tried to buy him new ones. He just won't take them. That one there is about to loose an arm to. As he said that Castiel held the toy so that Ale could see it better, then he wiggled it's arm. He seemed almost proud of it. Ezekiel smiled, and placed his hand on the boy's head, messing with his short hair. Castiel grumbled, and pulled his father's hand off of his head. Zeke laughed. Daddy, do I have to go with Mom when she gets here? Ezekiel swallowed, and stole a glance at Ale before sitting back in his chair. He let out a sigh, and looked at the boy. Ya... But I tell you what, you should tell her that you want to stay for another day. When she says no, look at her with that sad puppy dog face. There was a smile on his face, but it was fake. He knew that once she showed up she would just quickly grab the kid and leave. Castiel seemed to believe his father's smile though. Okay! He said, getting up on his knees, a large grin on his face. He then grabbed his toy, and stood up, then walked over to Alethia. He sat down on the couch next to her, a smile on his little innocent face. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 463 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- [/blockquote]

The smile that came after his words was sweet and set a good thought in Alethia's mind. A smile was hanging from her lips as her head was slightly tilted to the side. Eyes looked down towards the boy, fascinated at how he could just 'poof' and be gone within a matter of seconds. In his own little world..having anything he wanted happen. Worlds like that..ale only wished were true. Taking in a breath, she placed both her hands in her lap and intwined them together. Taking a look back upwarsd at Ezkiel. "You raised him well, er-uh well at least i speak for myself." her tones were light as she took a swift glance over the lobby. The people had seemed to take their places like orignal..as if nothing ever happened. Just being more catious about the boy and his father. She listened as Cas made sounds that were well to the show. Smiling she just watched him. ----- Not offended by the boys disguisted face at the fact of getting a new batman. Knowing that for some odd reason, the one he held in his hands had sentimental value and wouldn't go anywhere without him. "Certain things have more value than others..." she said pausing her tones, as to look at both Ezkiel and Cas. "This batman from uncle bobby, seems to have alot" her lips graced with a smile. Ale took a good look at the figure as it danced in front of her eyes by the lead of Cas. Ezkiel was right, the figure was about to loose an arm and more than half of its cap has gone. The boy did need a new figure...but if he didn't want one. Then there was no reason on forcing him to get one. A kid with such a strong head..would only end up destroying the nwe batman given to him. ----- a mother her tones inside her head were sharp. Well of course the boy had a mother..but that was why the two were here..to switch off weeks with Cas. Diverging her sight to something else, as to make it seem like she had not heard. She watched a bell boy push a cart to the elevator where two kids ran ahead..their parents screaming at them to stop it. their children for god sakes..let them be ale was always to put her words away inside her head..but if close enough she would let you hear them. Listening as Ezekial spoke, turning her sight and attention back. She gave a sheepish grin. The young boy so full of engery bounded upwards with a roaring okay. Looking downwards at the grounds, a small weak smile pecked the corner of her lips. ----- Hoping no one had seen her, she quickly recovered. Raising an eyebrow towards Cas as he came and sat down besides her on the couch. "He can buy his was out with a puppy dog face? What such luck" smiling towards ezekial and cas. "Would you mind showing me your puppy dog face. As to so i can see why anyone would cave in" Eyes glinted towards him as she was glad that her room wasn't ready yet and that the father had to hand over his boy to his mother. Taunted though by the thought of having that difference in lives. Like many of hers [/blockquote]

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE A slight frown hit his face when she said that he had raised his child well. His fingers laced together and his twiddled his thumbs. Well, accually, I didn't raise him. I didn't even know he existed until about a year ago, and i finally got to see him a little over a week ago... he broke his gaze away from Ale, looking back down towards his son. It did hurt him that he could never spend as much time as he wanted with the boy. He was fun, and care free. Something that Ezekiel really needed in his life. But no, that wasn't up to him. It was up to her, and all her god damn money. She could offord the big gleaming lawyer to take the boy away, Zeke couldn't. He was just going to have to play along with her until he could show her that he wasn't a bad guy. Castiel gaze Ale an odd look when she spoke. He didn't really understand what she had just said, but he figured it was nothing bad, so a small smile came moments later. He seemed to smile a lot, but then again, he was a kid. Ezekiel saw how Ale seemed to ignore the whole 'mommy' issue. Half of a smirk pulled at the corner of his lips. Sure, it sort of bothered him to talk about it infront of other people, but half they time they tried not to listen anyways, and it always seemed to amuse him the slightest of ways. He never got why, it was just one of those random things that happened. after Cas jumped around with the okay, Zeke had stolen a glance at Ale, seeing her slightly smile. That all in itself made him grin a little. Ezekiel slightly chuckled as Ale spoke, and watched as Cas seemed to beam with a sort of light again. He nodded his little head towards her, his smile slowly fading away. he sat there for a moment, getting himself ready, then he looked up at her. His big brown eyes stared up at her, his pupils slightly larger than normal, and a sort of watery look to them. His lips well in a bit of a frown, his bottom lip sticking out just slightly over his upper. His shoulders were fell forward, his hands folded together in his lap. His head was sort of looking down, but his eyes still loked up at her. Ezekiel jus sat in his chair, looking at the boy. He couldn't help but have this pitiful excuse of a grin on his face. The boy did look like a beat puppy or something. He liked to think it came from him, seeing that he was half canine and all. Truthfully, it probably came from his mother. She always was one of those people that pouted whenever she didn't get her way, she had almost mastered it to. Casteil certainly had, and he was under ten years old. Zeke just sat back in his chair, and waited to see how Alethia would react to the little boy's face. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 518 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- [/blockquote]

Her gaze was only slightly lifted from Cas as Ezekial spoke. Listening to him as he spoke oh.. she spoke inside to herself as he spoke. Feeling almost ashamed for asking..but pushing her asham aside. Leaning herself off her elbows, she looked at him, placing her hands in her lap "That seems to happen when people split apart" her tones came forward. She said what she knew. Mothers cared nothing for the fathers once things ended. They held dark secrets. Fathers didn't care to want to know those secrets but it seemed like the mothers would just flip out that secret and have it be a big soap opera. Just like it seemed. Sighing slightly. Giving a caring smile towards ezekial, she looked towards cas. This little boy has some effect on ale, and she knew already she dug herself a grave with this puppy dog face. ----- Her facial expression was light and interested. Her dark brown eyes looking mysterious holding a ambered color as they flickered with some sort or light. Knowing she wanted to glance back towards ezekial, she held herself from not doing so. Her lips have a gracious smile towards cas as he prepared himself. Wanting to give a small laugh, but not daring to break the boys concentration. She waited patiently. Placing her elbows on her knees. Her hands lifted upwards as her chin was placed in the palms of her hands. Golden hair fell to her sides in small waves. Alethia was a good looking woman for what she could pull off on wearing. She never saw it though..and she could care less. The way his eyes stretched with a glossed look, his lip over extended his hands placed in his lap. damn he's good not wanting to have been said outloud. She couldn't help bu smile and look away from cas if only for a quick flash of a second. It was to much..no wonder people gave in. ----- She placed a smile on her lips as she lifted her hand towards her hair. Pushing it back behind her ear gently in one strong movement. "Well...now i see why people cave in so easily." her tones light as she gave a small laugh. Taking in a deep breath, she licked her lips as they were becoming dry. "You almost had me fooled" her tones gave sarcasim as, she nodded towards cas then took a look towards ezekial, giving him a nodd. ----- Looking down to her side, she noticed her back-pack laying there. Bending down over the couch, reaching into the front pocket of the bag, she unzipped it and pulled out chapstick. Putting some on her lips, she then zipped the bag back up. Her hair fell over her shoulders and down her back. Slender. Sitting straight back onto the couch ,slightly slouching. "Wonder how much longer its gonna be..i think i need a nap" she said to the two as she kicked her bag underneath a table and to the side as to make sure no one would sneak off with it..or trip over it. With people being so clumsy and all. [/blockquote]

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE When Alethia spoke, Ezekiel's eyes seem to cloud over a bit. A heavy sigh escaped him, and he seemed to slouch deeper into the chair. Ya... it sure does... Slowly his mind seemed to drift off again, like it often did. He picture Lori in his head, the way she looked a few years back, not at all what she looked like now. Zeke wouldn't say they 'split apart' in his mind. To him, it was simply 'she left'. Which was true. She was the one that had to freak out and leave. He never did anything... Thinking about her, he glanced back at his watch, wondering where the hell she was. Then again, it was nice, he had a few extra minutes with his boy before she took him away. The moment Ale took that quick glance away, little Castiel's face brightened up and he seemed to beam as he smiled at her. I use that face when ever I want something at the store. Other kids kick and scream, but not me! I'm to grown up to act like that! e seemed to sound so sophisticated and tried to sound old. Ezekiel just grinned and let out a light snort He hadn't meant to, it just sort of slipped. The little boy glared at his father, then back at Ale. And I would have fooled you if you didn't know it was coming! He said, a tooth missing smile still beaming on his face. Castiel looked curiously at the bag that Ale pulled out. He sat up straighter and tried to look down inside it, just being curious. Then he just seemed to watch in awe as she put it on his lips. It was just weird to him not see her lips change color. His mother didn't use chap stick, only lip stick, so seeing that Ale's lips were still flesh colored and not blazing red seemed to confuse the little boy for a moment. He wasn't the brightest crayon in the crayon box if you know what I mean. But then she spoke, and everything seemed to fly away from his head. What are you waiting for? He asked, his eyes going big again. And a nap? Who takes naps anymore? Huh? Little kids, that's who. And your not a little kid, so why do you need one? I don't even take naps anymore! Again he started acting like he was older than he really was. He just liked pretending I guess. It made him feel better or something. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 420 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- [/blockquote]

Ale knew she heard something in ezkiel's vioce. Whether he wanted the break apart relationship or not, most woman wore the pants in the relationship once they bore children of their own. That was the pity. She scanned her eyes over towards him, watching as ezkiel as she knew that look from anywhere. He was thinking, of something. Letting him be, ale felt some knew power surge in the small loby. Not from ezkiel, for he was in his own world, but from cal who was beaming with attention. Ale was glad to give him some. Turning her face down, her eyes glowed towards cal as he spoke. Lips curved to a sweet prefected smirk as he still spoke. "Then i'll have to keep a look out for your puppy dog face, as to make sure i won't get fooled." ale smiled as she gave cal a small wink. Before residing back into the couch's soft pads. ----- Head cocked slightly sideways as cal seemed interested in what she had just puts upon her lips. Purking her lips, she made a smacking sound. "It's chapstick. Smells like cherries." she said reaching down and unzipping her bag, her hands folded around the tube as she brought it out of her bag. Releasing her hadn down towards cal so that he could see. Ale wasn't the one for lipstick, it was something more so she could cake fake powder on her face. Yuck. Her fingers traced the cap, as she gently pulled on it. The small scent of cherries was little but one would be able to smell it. Ale didn't know thoug if cal liked cherries. So she quickly put the cap back on. ----- Listening as he spoke. She couldn't help but let a small laugh escape from her chest. It was cute. "Because sometimes i need a way to relieve myself from all the chaos in this world." tones were soft, as she kept her gaze on cal. The cute little boy who was something of amazement. That was what a nap was for, to give ale more engery to deal with the arrogant rude obnoxious people living in this world. If she didn't take some naps here and there. Ale would be ripping people's heads off. [/blockquote]

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE Castiel smiled warmly at Ale. I'll make sure to catch you off gaurd one of these days. He said, his little smile getting bigger as he looked at the woman. He made a little chuckle before looking down at his hands for a moment. The smell of cherries seemed to flood his nose and his little face turned to Ale again. His brow furrowed as he looked at it. Chapstick... I like it it! He tookm in a deep breath through his nose, sucking in the cherries. He grinned again at Alethia. When she spoke about naps, he seemed to get lost in her words. He didn't have chaos in his world, or atleast he just chose to ignore it. The fact that his family was torn never bothered him, or that his toys were beaten and old. He wasn't questioned about his weirdness and just used to all of his mother's odd things. In his mind, the world was just perfect. With that note, the door of the hotel opened and a woman walked in. She was wearing a tight dark skinny jeans, a consricting looking t-shirt, and a pair of heels. Bags seemed to engulf her, and a man that followed her in. He immediatly dropped them, and ran his red painted nails threw her blonde hair. Her hair was origanly brown, and you could see it at the very top of her head. Her hair itself was flat ironed stick straight, and looked extremely thin, like she had straightened it way to much. Make up coated her face as she looked around, her brown eyes falling on her little boy talking to a strange woman. Then they turned to the man sitting in the chair, slight fear in them. With that, Ezekiel rose to his feet, his right hand scratching the back of his neck. Cas, buddy, your mom is here... His voice was extremely dull and he looked longingly at the little boy who quickly jumped to his feet and ran towards the woman, hugging her instantly. A glance was stolen towards Alethia, wondering if he should even bother introducing her or not. His train of thought was lost when Lori knelt down and began speaking to Cas, asking him how his day has been. Ezekiel sighed and walked oer to them. Your late. Zeke said bluntly as he was about a foot or so away. Lori just seemed to glare at him as she stood up. I had things to do, errands to run and stuff. She shook her hair slightly and looked at him. Ezekiel let out a scuff. Sure looks like a lot of errands to me.. His eye looked over all the bags on th floor. Lori just glared. None of that matters now, I'm here, and taking my son home. With that Castiel pulled on his mother's hand. She looked down at him as he spoke. Do I have to go? I kinda wanted to sta with daddy for a little longer... His innocent little voice seemed to carry around the large lobby. Lori sighed, and glared at Zeke, thinking that he put his son up to this. Sorry sweetie, but we were going to go on vacation. Remember? We were going to go out on Bobby's boat. The little boy groaned, and the sad puppy dog look covered his face. Please? Lori shook her head no. A moment later, the man that had followed Loi in tapped her on the shoulder, saying that they needed to get going soon. Ezekiel gave the man a death glare. But Bobby, I don't wanna go! I wanna stay with Dad! Cas let go of his mother's had and he ran over to his father, grabbing onto his leg. Lori looked at Zeke. You put him up to this, didn't you? He shook his head no. A wail rang through the hotel when Lori grabbed Castiel's arm. He hugged onto his father's leg, burying his face into his jeans. Ezekiel grabbed Lori's arm, she jumped and slightly shrunk back. Zeke shook his head, then he knelt down and looked at the boy in the face, his hands being placed on his little shoulders. Hey, don't worry, I'll see you again. No need to make a scene. If you go with your mom now, maybe she will let me keep you longer next time. With that he glanced up at Lori. She sighed. Ya, ya, whatever. We just need to go. Zeke grabbed the boy, and hugged him, then let go. Father and son looked at each other for a long moment before Lori grabbed Castiel's sleeve and began to pull him away. Ezekiel stood up, and watched as his little boy began walking away. Bye Dad! He said as he waved, then grabbed his mother's hand and walked out of the hotel. Bobby, can you grab thee stuff, while I get him in the car? The man she had walked in with nodded and grabbed all the millions of bags, then the three vanished out the door. Ezekiel stood there for a long moment, then turned around. He walked back to the chair, and flopped down it it, his hands covering his face as he let out a groan. They slowly slid off as he turned and looked at Ale. Sorry about that.... It was all he said before letting out another sigh, his eyes going back to the door, hoping for the little boy to come running back through them. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 902 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- Sorry, I kind of started to ramble there...[/blockquote]

Cas had ale smiling since she first saw him running around the hotel. Even now though since he took a fany into liking the smell of the chapstick. Letting a small laugh come from her, she gave a face towards cas. "I dont think so..ill keep a look out for that puppy dog face." tones were soft as she soon noticed ezekial's attention was given to something or someone else. Head turned as ale noticed what he was looking at. A female had just walked through the doors and it seemed liked she thought she owned the place. Alethia rolled her eyes towards the woman, as her teeth gritted down. People like that deserve to fall into a dark abyss and never rise. It was then that ale scowled herself for thinking that about this woman, for she was cas's mother. For little cas, his mother seemed like she was the worst. Even her boy toy that carried all her crap. Alethia took a glance towards ezekail that showed pity. Not for either cas nor him but for the woman. Turning her attention away, she tried to ignore the entire ocnversation given. But the bitch just didn't want this conversation under wraps. She didn't seem to care who heard or who knew she was a bad mother. Alethia fell her teeth grind together as she wanted to freak out on this woman. But held herself back. ----- A grunt came as she woman turned and left. it was then alethia found herself wishing that cas would fly back through the doors with his batman cape and cause so much chaos she would find herself smiling again, instead of a hateful look on her face. It was then she watche ezekail, listened to what he had to say. Shaking her head, she glanced back at the doors. "No need.." tones drifted off as she took her glance back to him. He didn't look well, annoyed that his ex had taken his son and that cas didn't have a say in the world. Neither did ale. "So that was Cas's mother..?" her tones hinted that she was simply disgusted. Not everyone started out like that, something had to have happened to that woman. Ezekial didn't seem like the person to fall for those kind of girls. So there must have been something good about her, a while ago. "I have one thing to say about her. B.tch." tones were harsh as she gave them out. Catching a glance. She didn't care if ezekial still cared for the woman. Ale didn't like her at all. So she would say it. Feeling somewhat annoyed that she said it to him and didn't know how ezekial felt about her ----- Shifting her weight, she kicked her backpack to the side. Her room should be ready soon. Though she didn't want to just leve ezekail. She felt like talking more to him..or maybe ending it here since she had just called his ex something not nice. [/blockquote]

i'm helpless without YOUR WARMING SMILE No need. It rang threw is head those few short moments as he sat there, staring at the large front doors to the fancy hotel. As Alethia spoke again, Ezekiel let out a heavy sigh. No. The Lori that gave birth to that boy was defiantly not the woman that just passed through those doors. She had completely hit that one on the nose. When she said bitch, Zeke slightly snorted. That is an understatement, he said with a slight smirk as he sat up. She used to be normal. Hell, she was a little on the crazy side. Well, the good crazy, not this crazy shopping bitch crazy. I'm guessing it was when her mother married some rich guy a month or so ago. She took a little to much liking to her new daddy or something... Ezekiel's eyes had been on the door the whole time they were talking. He was still waiting for his boy to come running through the doors. You would have probably liked the old Lori. Well, maybe, I don't really know you all to well. He let out a half chuckle and looked over at Alethia. Her hair is originally brown, curly, and extremely frizzy. She didn't even care either. Never once tried to straighten it. She would just pull it back or wear it in braids or something. She has glasses, she used to weigh the same as a average woman, not someone that just blows away in the wind. She wore the the most horrid, old rags of cloth for clothing, and only owned one pair of shoes. And, well frankly, she didn't give a damn what anyone thought. He stopped at that. Truly, he didn't know why he was saying all of this. It was defense or anything, he just hadn't really gotten a chance to speak to anyone really. So he sort of took advantage of the situation. He seemed to slump back into the chair, his dull eyes lingering around the room. He tried to push away Lori, not really caring to talk about her anymore. They fell back on Ale in a few moments. What about you? Got some crazy ass ex that you thought you really knew? He just wanted to get the subject off of him. I mean sure, he still kind of felt for Lori, but it was the old Lori he missed, not the new stuck up one. Maybe it was guilt or something, considering he was the one that drove her away. ----------- STATUS- Complete TAGGED- Ale WORD COUNT- 423 LYRICS- Come out of the shade- The Perishers STICKY NOTE- [/blockquote]

Ale didn't know if what she said had maken him mad or aggiated that she had the nerves to say such a rude comment. Personally she didn't care, but she didn't come off like that. If she needed to, she could actlike she was sorry for what she said. But before she ould figure out what he felt to her comment, he began to speak. So letting him speak, she shut her trap and listened. the more he spoke the more she got it. This Lori person hadn't been the bitch she was. She use to be easy and fun to be around, a genuine person. Strange how many can change people in just a second of a blink of the eye. Sighing as she nodded to his words. "Money does that..." she said almost ashamed. She used to be like that. When she was younger, she believed it was all about the money, being right and having everyone fall after you like their dogs. Sure it was fun for a while..but ale got a reality check. Let's not talk about that. Thing was though, ale out grew it very quickly. Soon she found herself leading away from the money her parents had, leading away from the friends she once had. In that..she never let herself really get close enough to anyone. Lost in her own thoughts, the minute he asked her about her own crazy ex boyrfriends, she only could shake her head. ----- Looking upwards at him as she felt her gaze drop. "No. No crazy ex. But i did have crazy parents and crazy friends i thought i once knew." it was true. Want to know something. Alethia didn't let herself actually have a true boyfriend, she wouldn't allow herself to fall for someone. So when the break up part came, she didn't care about it. Giving him a small fakish smile. Alethia hated having money. Alethia hated having the parents and the once life that she did. Another thing. She hated living so blindly. [/blockquote]
