[/font]Ashleigh smiled softly as she felt her mother cup her cheek and she automatically leaned into her touch. After her mother's soft kiss, Ashleigh looked up to her and whispered, "I need to speak with you... alone". She made sure to make it clear they had to be alone, as she really didn't want her father hearing and then making a big deal. Ashleigh didn't know that Tom had just read Joe's thoughts and seen part of what she needed to show her mother, but there was still some that she had to hide from her father; there was a big difference between what Jacob saw and what Ashleigh felt.
Ashleigh grabbed her mother's hand and looked back at her father, giving him a small glare. "You'd better not be listening in on my thoughts when I'm talking to her" She warned, soon hurrying her mother up to her bedroom.
Ashleigh pulled her mother onto her bed and sat down beside her, turning to face her. She let her fearful eyes meet her mother's and she softly whispered, "I-I'm scared..." Without giving her mother a chance to inquire as to why this was, she gently put her hand on her mother's neck and laid down her head on Scarlet's lap. She showed her mother the memories of being in class and suddenly feeling such a strong emotion for the attractive boy who had corrected the teacher on the pronounciation of her name. Ashleigh showed her mother that she knew she loved Joe, but this male had produced feelings within her too quickly for them to be her own.
When Ashleigh finally pulled away, tears of frustration, fear, confusion, and many more feelings, filled her eyes and softly spilled over. Ashelil hid her face in her mother's lap and held onto her tightly, needing her mother's comfort.
